my stay at the golden nugget was amazing! the pool area was a hit with my family, particularly the lazy river and slides. the overall vibe during the nightlife exceeded my expectations, and the restaurants offered delicious options that we thoroughly enjoyed.

the room safe didn’t work.

The pool area was stunning, featuring lush landscaping and comfortable seating. The lazy river was a delightful touch, and the attentive staff made lounging by the water a truly relaxing experience for a senior woman like me.

However, the Double Room was lacking some expected amenities like a fridge, which incurred an additional daily charge. A malfunctioning safe was a major hassle, as help didn't arrive to fix it. More annoyingly, the ID scanning issue at the casino entry meant waiting, compounded by the unhelpful attitudes of security staff. we gave up and walked to the nearby Auberge with no trouble finding entry there instead. Housekeeping left dirty towels on the floor and failed to restock our fresh ones, further diminishing the comfort of the stay.

The King Room with Lake View was pretty nice. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was good too, except the water pressure was kinda weak. I loved the space and layout overall. But it did have some dust here and there which was a bit of a turn-off. Also, there was hair in one of the beds. A mixed bag for sure.

The rooms were super nice, and the beach view was perfect. The casino was a lot of fun, and the staff was always quick to bring us drinks when we played. Salt Grass was a must-try for dinner, but the wait for our table was kinda long.

We had a fantastic stay at the resort! My sister and I loved the vibrant atmosphere, especially around the pool area where we spent plenty of time lounging and enjoying drinks. The dining options were diverse, and we particularly enjoyed the incredible view while dining at one of the restaurants.

My kids wished for more kid-friendly activities like fun games or family-friendly shows during our stay.

The food options were varied, with signature meats standing out, especially at Saltgrass, where the steak was juicy and perfectly cooked. Check-in was seamless, and the room had a fantastic layout with a deep soaking tub and a comfortable bed. However, the pool area felt overcrowded, making it impossible to relax, and the food service around the pool was limited on Mondays. A broader non-smoking area would enhance the experience significantly.

This place was a wonderful surprise! The spa suite I got was like a mini paradise with a hot tub overlooking the pool, and the bed was seriously the comfiest I've ever slept in.
